I just think that teachers should not hold back students. I am writing an argumentative essay for school and I wanted to talk about either abortion or equal marriage. And you know WHAT my teacher said..do you know. She said, “Here is a list of things that have been approved by me, and here is a list of stuff that you CAN NOT WRITE ABOUT”. And yes I am in middle school so…

Here is the list that she gave us to use. I get it it might be a little too much for a 7th grader to write about one of these topics because they are a little pg-13 but who gives a FUCK. It’s not like the WHOLE school is going to read it just the teacher. If you know me I am a lot and I care about many things and I was so excited to write this paper because I LOVE to argue.

The one thing that really makes me mad is that my sister did not get a list. My sister and I have different teachers so we do different things but everyone has to write this essay. I get a list but my sister gets an email. She has to email the teacher about the topics she wants to write about and if some of the topics are too much she emails the parent to see if they can do it. My sister's teacher said, “I do not want to give a list because some people are at different maturity levels”. I was like why couldn’t I get that teacher (I had her last year and I loved her). And that made me wonder why did I get a list but not my sister.

So just get ready because since I can’t write about what I wanted to for my essay I will be writing it on my page.
